Is this official Mojang software?

No. Key Checker is an independent utility that queries public voucher endpoints. See API / Privacy for technical details.

What does "code not found" mean?

The format was accepted but the provider returned no matching active voucher. The code may be invalid, already redeemed, or region-locked.

Why is a checker offline?

Some legacy adapters run on older worker nodes. When one fails, that checker shows offline on the status page until we restore the connection.

Why are there so many storefront checkers?

The site grew from a single Mojang tool into a directory of storefront validators requested by forum users over the years.

Do I need an account?

No. Paste a code, hit Process, read the result.

Is the site free forever?

Key Checker and the infrastructure behind it run at a loss — hosting, API quotas, and maintenance are paid out of pocket. We plan to add a "buy us a tea" donation page so supporters can chip in if they find the tools useful. Until then, the site stays free with no registration required.
